• Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Wednesday announce a new dispensation for Gauteng's controversial e-tolls.Ramaphosa will be joined by Minister of Transport Dipuo Peters, Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene and Gauteng Premier David Makhura, at a news conference in Cape Town.

    Ramaphosa's office says the new dispensation is the product of extensive public consultations and has been approved by Cabinet.The SA National Roads Agency has admitted that thousands of motorists are not paying for e-tolls. The agency has stalled on prosecuting non-payers while the government was investigating alternatives.
